About Me
Welcome. I am in my mid-thirties and have always been an adventurous traveller. Until recently, I climbed mountains, rode motorcycles and trekked in various corners of the globe without major incident. After a nasty fall from my surfboard in Thailand, I was unable to afford medical care in a western-run hospital. I recovered in a local hospital, but it was crowded and quite scary since no one spoke English. It was definitely a wake up call that made me realise insurance isn't an optional extra. Since returning to Australia, I've researched various options for travel and other types of insurance. There are quite a few products out there so it takes time to explore them all. I started this blog to share what I have learned and encourage you to consider your insurance needs. Safe travels wherever you go and thank you for sharing this little part of my journey.
